Bredagh U12.5's Win Championship Final
15th October 2016

The U12.5 boys footballers put in a first class performance at Darragh Cross earlier today to see off Carryduff in an entertaining championship final.

In very testing conditions, with continuous heavy rain and soft ground underfoot, the Bredagh lads were impressive in all aspects of their play. First half goals from Finn Hackett and a point from Emmett McGirr saw the teams go in at the interval with Bredagh leading Bredagh 2-01 Carryduff... 0-2.

Carryduff pushed hard for scores in the second half but the Bredagh defence was resolute and assured in their tackling, turning over the ball on numerous occasions. A nicely taken goal by Rory McCann and a pointed free from Emmett Rogers was enough for the harps to take a well deserved victory. Final score Bredagh 3-02 Carryduff 0-06.

Well done lads!
