Girls' Football Mystery Tour
All was revealed on Saturday 22nd August when the Bredagh U-8, U-10 and U-12 girls footballers headed off on their Mystery Tour. The girls enjoyed a beautiful September day and headed off from Cherryvale on the bus.

First stop was the Moneyglass club in Antrim for some friendly matches for the U-8, U-10 and U-12 matches. The girls really enjoyed the matches. They played with great skill and teamwork and fought hard for every ball. Moneyglass were very welcoming and generously provided drinks, sandwiches and treats for the Bredagh visitors. Thanks to Moneyglass for their great hospitality.

The girls then headed off to Carnfunnock Country Park on the Antrim coast where they spent the rest of the day. Activities started with a visit to the Maze where by good luck the same number left the maze as had entered it. Highlight of the day was the X-Factor competition at the Giant Bird tables where the girls took it in turns to display their singing and dancing talents. The girls then tucked into their barbeque before heading to the activity centre to try out the Adventure Playground and Outdoor Chess. It was time to head home, watching Scooby Doo on the bus for the second showing of the day, back to Cherryvale and the waiting parents. A great day out was had by all. Thanks to the coaches and helpers - Laura Willighan, John McGale, Colm Murray, Cera McArdle, Duana McArdle.

U10s and U8s v Bryansford
The Bredagh U10s and U8s travelled to Newcastle on Sunday 5th August for a few friendly matches against Bryansford.
Despite the terrible weather conditions 25 hardy Bredagh souls participated in two matches.
The Bredagh squad for the two matches was:
Aine Wills, Brid Kelly, Bronagh Murray, Ciara Downey, Meadbh Downey, Cliona Regan, Clodagh Smith, Eimear Smith, Dara Cargan, Emma Scullion, Hannah McKegney, Joanne McKee, Niamh Mullan, Nuala McManus, Amy Magee, Anna Scullion, Aoibhinn Brentnall, Aoife Henderson, Chloe Henderson, Ciara Blaney, Doireann Sheridan, Orlagh Blaney, Rebecca McKegney, Sinead Murray, Zoe Waterfield

After the matches, the girls soon dried off and felt a lot better after a drink and a treat - courtesy of the Bryansford club.

Thanks to the parents who provided lifts to bring the girls to the match and thanks to Bryansford for the hot tea!
