U16 Football
The U16’s suffered their first defeat of the season going down by a narrow one point margin away to Downpatrick on Wednesday night. The final score was Downpatrick 3-14 Bredagh 2-16. Read the full report in the U16 football section


Seniors Lose
Bredagh mens senior football team were unlucky to lose out away to Dundrum on Friday evening. It was end to end throughout the game but the home side were just too strong on the night, running out winners by 0-13 to 0-09.


Summer Break - Football
The following arrangements will apply to underage football training over the holiday period:

U8 - No training Sunday 12th, 19th and 26th July, recommence at 10am on Sunday 2nd August

U10 - No training Sunday 12th and 19th July, recommence at 10am on Sunday 26th July

U14 - No training Sunday 5th and 12th July, recommence at 10am on Sunday 19th July. Watch this space for matches week commencing 6th July

U18 - No training Sunday 5th, 12th and 19th July, recommence at 11am on Sunday 26th July


Minor hurlers win
The minors had a big league win over a weakened Liatroim side on Thursday in Cherryvale. The final score was Bredagh 3-13 Liatroim 1-4. Report to follow.


Cul Camp Coaches
There will be a Information Morning for all Down GAA Cul Camp coaching applicants on Saturday 4th July 2009, in Bryansford GAC at 10am.
The morning will consist of an information period and a practical session on the pitch.
The session should be completed by 12.30pm.


U16 Hurling Development Squad
Training at 2.00 in Ballycran this Saturday with Paudie Butler. Players are to make their own way there.


Ladies - Under 12 Training
There will be no training on from Saturday 4th July 2009 to Saturday 18th July 2009 (inclusive). Training will resume on Wed 22nd July 2009.


Bredagh Belles in Ulster Final
Good luck to our Antrim & Derry representatives who will battle it out amongst each other this Sunday in the Ulster Junior Championship.

There are 7 Bredagh Belles playing in total. For Antrim there is Mary McCann, Caroline Kelly, Geraldine Campbell, Claire Timoney and Gerdine McCann, who is also the Antrim Captain. Doing it for Derry is Nuala Doherty and Julie McLaughlin. The match kicks off in Breffni Park at 1.45. Good luck to all involved!

Minors Win
Bredagh minor footballers are back on song with a comprehensive victory away to Bryansford on Tuesday evening. The final score was Bredagh 2-10 Bryansford 0-06, a winning margin of ten points against a very credible team. Well done lads


U14 Match Notice
Could all available under 14 Boys footballers meet for a match in Cherryvale at 6.45pm on Thursday 2nd July.

With holidays etc it is essential all available players meet to ensure we have a full team.


U16 Footballers Win
Bredagh U16 boys football team had a good league win at home to Carryduff last Thursday evening. The final score was Bredagh 3-12 Carryduff 3-05. Read the match report in the U16 football section

U8 Hurling
There will be no Under 8 hurling training during July.
Bredagh will be hosting an Under 8 hurling Blitz on Saturday 1st AUGUST.
