Bredagh news in January 2008
Registrations 2008 Registrations and fees will be collected on Sunday 3rd February between 1.00 and 2.30pm in Holy Rosary Hall. A limited amount of Bredagh gear will also be on sale on the day.
Senior Football notice There will be two matches this Saturday Feb 2 in Cherryvale. Jody will select a team to play St Brigid's at 1pm, the remaining players will play an "internal" challenge match at 2pm. This will give selectors an opportunity see everyone. Jody intends to select his Senior squad over the weekend also. The Seniors will train from next week at Malone RC, whilst the other players will train at Mary Peters (probably on Tuesdays @ 7.45) and at the PEC 7.45pm Fridays as at present. It is important that everyone attends training this Friday as normal, or makes contact with the coaches asap if they haven't already done so.
All systems go for ladies Bredagh Ladies outdoor Football training starts this Saturday at Cherryvale @ 10am sharp. If you cannot make it let Paddy know well in advance and not on the day please.
Camogie notice There will be no training at Aquinas for 2 weeks as the hall is not available (Sat 19th or Sat 26th January). Training resumes as normal on 2nd Febuary.
Senior football training Senior Training for all 3 teams begins this Friday 18th @ Queens PEC 3G astro turf pitch - 7.45PM SHARP. Jody is keen for all players who did not play Senior football last year (including 08 Minors, 07 u-20s etc) to turn up on Friday night.Details of further training sessions to be advised.
Intermediate ladies notice In order to get a good start to the Intermediate Season, pre-season training starts next Wednesday 16th January at Rosario YC at 8:30pm. Anyone who considers themselves Intermediate players for the incoming season should be in attendance, cost £2 each. Seniors also welcome. Please let Paddy know if you can/cannot attend.
Football Committee Football Committee members are reminded that the first football committee meeting is this Sunday, 13th January, at 6 pm in the Bingo hall on the Ravenhill Road.
Indoor Camogie Sat 12th Jan Aquinas Grammar (sports hall). Parents are advised that children should bring £1 each week to cover costs.
Please use the BACK ENTRANCE (Knockeden Park) to Aquinas as the front gates will be closed.

Indoor hurling resumes Next indoor hurling is on Saturdays starting at 1pm for the various age groups. If you haven't tried it yet please come along and give it a go. Most of our indoor hurlers are from St Michaels so we would like to see more from St Bernards and Holy Rosary.Bring along a friend.
