SENIOR AWARDS AT BREDAGH DINNER


YOUTH AWARD WINNERS FROM 2003 The Bredagh Youth Presentation night for 2003 was a major success at Aquinas Grammar School with 21 trophies and 300 medals handed out by special guests Dermot Carlin (Tyrone player) and John Crossey (Down hurling manager). The Sam Maguire cup was also in attendance and Tyrone manager Mickey Harte sent a congratulatory message by video to Bredagh followers on their own historic season.

Qualified Coaches Eight more Bredagh coaches achieved Foundation Level status over the weekend by completing the two-day course at Castlewellan. They were from both the boys and girls football teams. Also, another nine Bredagh coaches/players earned their Foundation Level Hurling Coaching certificates after a one-day course held on Saturday January 24th with the new Down Hurling manager John Crossey at Aquinas Grammar School. The Bredagh coaches/members on the course were: Eamonn Mulvenna, Aidan McKegney, Jim Sheridan, Eugene Irwin, John Deery, Matthew Quinn, Rowan Smart, Oisin Quinn and Eoin Costello.
