Minors win Bredagh minors cruised to an easy victory over Tecconaught last friday evening, with a scoreline of 6-9 to 0-5. Read report in the minor football section
U16's unlucky against St Mary's Bredagh U16’s boys footballers played the second match of their league campaign on Tuesday night 29th April and were defeated by a much more physically strong St Mary’s side who were a combination of Laitroim and Dromara. The Bredagh boys found it difficult to settle in the first half and it wasn’t until the second period that they produced some fine scores. The management team took some heart from the fact that that the boys battled bravely winning the second half by a single point against the breeze.

Big Win for 3rds Bredagh III's 2-19 Bright II's 0-02. The 3rds had a big win over a weak Bright team on Sunday evening at Cherryvale. Having struggled to score in their win against Carryduff the previous week, they showed what they were capable of with an exhibition of free flowing football and some high class scores. Mark Galway made his full debut alongside Peadar Doyle at full forward and was excellent, contributing 1-03 - Oisin Quinn got the other goal. Deccie Noble and Kevin Briggs controlled midfield, while Kelly, Durkan and Byrne ensured the defence was as tight as a drum. Bredagh Ladies- Seniors Win Bredagh Ladies Seniors secured a hard fought victory against a tricky Bryansford team on a score line of Bredagh 2-13 Bryansford 1-12 to secure their third victory of the season. Bredagh played well in patches and thoroughly deserved the victory. Next up for the Senior Ladies is an away fixture against Annaclone at 7pm on Sunday 27th April.

U14 Camogs in feile Bredagh's u14 camogs went close to reaching the 'Senior' feile final. Beating Clonduff in the quarter-final, they gave Portaferry a testing time in the semi but the homeside won out in the end.

Senior ladies v Bryansford Bredagh Senior Ladies have a league game at 7pm on Monday 21st April away to Bryansford. The Ladies will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing second half display against Clonduff which resulted in their first defeat of the season. There is no doubting the talent of this Bredagh squad and after a great week of training, a big performance is expected.
u14 Down hurling Feile Down Hurling Feile, Portaferry, Saturday 19 / Sunday 20 April. All players to meet in Cherryvale Saturday 9.15am. Bring Bredagh Shorts and socks and trainers (for the parade). Also bring appropriate clothing to keep warm(hoodies/tracksuits etc),a packed lunch and water. The final will be played on Sunday in Portaferry.
