Hurlers scrape through
Bredagh's Senior hurlers got through to the quarter-final of the Ulster JHC thanks to last minute goal from Seamus Mc Loughney.
Bredagh 2-10 St Malachys Portadown 2-09.Report will follow.
U14 Boys football
U14 Training on Sunday(30th Sep) at 10:00am . It is very important that we have a full turnout as we are likely to have the final league match against Kilcoo the following weekend

U-13 Hurling on Saturday
Bredagh U-13 hurlers have an away game at Ballyvarley this Saturday at 1.00pm, meeting in Cherryvale at midday. The game will be played on their new all-weather pitch at the back of their clubhouse. All help with transport will be appreciated.
U14 Camogie notice
The under 14 camógie league playoff against Portaferry will now take place on Friday evening, 28th September, in Cherryvale at 6pm and not on Sunday morning 30th September. All players to be in attendance at 5.30pm sharp. If we lose this the season is at an end.
U16 hurling Championship
Under 16's will play Carryduff on Saturday evening at 5.30pm at Carryduff. This is a quarter final match with winners to meet Warrenpoint.
U10/U16 Camogie notice
Change to U10 & U16 Camogie South Antrim Championships.We have been contacted by organisers of the above tournament regarding a
change in arrangements. U16s will now play on Saturday 6th Oct whilst the U10s will play on Sunday 7th Oct.

Bredagh Senior footballers and Tullylish played out a draw today in the first of the promotional play off games. Watch this space for details of next weeks game
U-10 Football
Blitz this Saturday 22nd Sept in Downpatrick meeting for 8:45 at Cherryvale leaving at 9, then we have a home friendly against St Paul's the next day Sunday 23rd, then we are away to St Paul's the following Sunday 30th Sept.
Lost Hurling Helmet
With the Cork trip coming up in a few days time, the U-14 hurlers are getting their gear ready. But one helmet is missing. It's blue and it was clearly marked as belonging to Mark Quinn yet it hasn't been seen since the Summer Camp. If anyone knows of it's whereabouts, please call 07764 580477. Thank you.
U21 football notice
Although the format for this year's U-21's has not yet been decided upon,a Management team of Frank Mc Kenna,Boyd Devlin,Ollie Mc Williams and Kevin Muldoon has been put in place.Good luck to all involved.Watch this space for further details
U8 hurling blitz
An U8 hurling blitz will be held in Newry this Saturday,22nd September. Meeting Cherryvale at 9.45am. Kids should bring a packed lunch and coat.
Tim into Down Skills Final
U-14 Player Tim Durkan will be representing Bredagh on County Football Final day on Sunday Oct 7th in Park Esler.Tim has qualified by two outstanding displays to get through to the Skills final.Good luck from all in the Bredagh.

Directions for U12 Camogs
Here are the directions to Ballycran for the U12 championship final.
Get onto the Knock Dual Carraigeway and travel to Dundonald. From Dundonald follow the signs to Newtownards. When going through Newtownards follow the signs to Kircubbin/Portaferry. You will pass through Greyabbey and the next town is Kircubbin. Just as you come out of Kircubbin take the first left signposted for Cloughey/Portavogie. Follow the road for 2 miles when you will see a sign for McKenna Road (Ballycran) Turn left here
and the pitch is on the left hand side. SAFE JOURNEY.
U12 hurling friendly
U12 hurlers have a game with Pearses in Cherryvale on Sat 15th Sept at 2pm. All player to meet in Cherryvale @ 1.30pm.
U8 Camogs to play Rossa
Bredagh’s U8 camogs will play a challenge match against Rossa in Cherryvale on Saturday 15th September at 11am. All U8 camogs welcome. Everyone will get to play.

Bredagh Senior Ladies fell in the Championship to Clonduff at Saval on a scorline Bredagh 1-04 Clonduff 3-15.

U16 boys are champions
Bredagh U-16 footballers became East Down 'A' League champions for 2007 last Tuesday night in Liatroim having remained undefeated in all their league games. A fantastic achievement, well done to all the players and management. See pictures and read report in the U-16 section.
