It’s not just for Bredagh camogs as the Academy is open to all schools in Belfast, but many of our girls signed up at Easter and will be involved in matches against teams from Dublin, Cork and Birmingham, while the hurlers will be involved on a team taking on on Mayfield from Cork city, who hosted Bredagh at the 2005 All Ireland Féile.

The Inter-city Challenge is a follow-on from the Easter Sports Academy which was also organised by Belfast City Council. It is aimed at 'minority' sports such as basketball, girls cricket and hockey, and at developing links with other cities. We have also helped identify clubs to invite, such as Erin go Bragh from Birmingham and Na Fianna from Dublin.
